Question on detecting and following perticular atoms
« on: August 28, 2018, 04:03:57 AM »
Dear OVITO users,
Hi,

I wrote a python code in Ovito, and as output I defined a property (0 or 1 ) for the atoms and for some of them, i.e. based on a condition, I made them 1. It's for the last frame. But, now I want to detect those atom of the last frame in the very first frame. I wonder if you could please comment on it.
Thanks,
Ali

Dear Ali,

You can use the Freeze property modifier for that. It lets you copy the state of a particle property from one time frame to all others.
