grain boundary movement?
« on: May 31, 2018, 11:14:17 AM »
Hi, I want to ask some question about simulating grain boundary movement of Fe.

The white line is grain boundary, and I want to describe this movement as a function of time.
Is there any built-in function that can describe this kind of movement?

Hi,

OVITO doesn't have a function for identifying grains and grain boundaries yet. But this is a subject of ongoing research. In the meantime, perhaps this code is of interest to you:
